March 13, 2015 – the owl and no pussycat

Notes for today: Another visit to the owl’s nest across a street from the reservation, resulted in some better photos and video. Out Of Context: “If you’re a rich kid then you can get in an Ivy League school.” Overheard when three teenaged boys ran by the dog beach, two of them white, one black, undetermined who was speaking. Darwinian forces rear their ugly head even in the genteel town of Cambridge. Or in the Cambridge jungle we are all piles of meat to be eaten, sooner or later. First Garlic Mustard along the edge of the Eastern Pine Woods, but looking like a hard winter. Later, along the path, near Post0160, more green.
